WARRANTY COVERAGE

Sweet Touch mattress carries a limited warranty against manufacturing defects (excluding mattress fabric) for up to 12 months from the date of delivery. During this period, Sweet Touch will at its option, replace or repair a Sweet Touch mattress, at no charge (excluding transportation and handling charge).

Sweet Touch spring mattress carries a 10-year limited warranty period against spring coils that are loose, broken, or protruding from the surface of the fabric.

Sweet Touch latex and memory foam mattresses carry a 10-year limited warranty period against visible and permanent depressions (of more than 25mm / 1 inch) in the material. The warranty does not cover gradual changes in hardness or characteristics including smell that do not affect the pressure-relieving properties of the product.

The repair cost of the Sweet Touch spring / latex / memory foam / hybrid mattress shall be determined by the total number of years for which the mattress has been owned, excluding the first year of ownership, multiplied by 1/10th of the original purchase price. In addition to the above-mentioned repair cost, transportation and handling costs shall be borne by the purchaser to make possible the logistics of collecting and returning the product under warranty.

Sweet Touch foam mattress carries a 3-year limited warranty period against visible and permanent depressions (of more than 25mm / 1 inch) in the material. The warranty does not cover gradual changes in hardness or characteristics including smell that do not affect the pressure-relieving properties of the product.

The repair cost of the Sweet Touch foam mattress shall be determined by the total number of years for which the mattress has been owned, excluding the first year of ownership, multiplied by 1/3rd of the original purchase price. In addition to the above-mentioned repair cost, transportation and handling costs shall be borne by the purchaser to make possible the logistics of collecting and returning the product under warranty.

The warranty is only valid for purchase in Malaysia and extended to the original purchaser and the original purchase invoice & delivery order must be presented for any claims. Without producing these required documents (including the completed online registration form and warranty coverage and exclusion details), the warranty claim cannot be exercised.

If identical materials are not available at the time of repair or replacement, Sweet Touch reserves the right to substitute comparable materials or models and does not guarantee that the replacement will match the existing or original piece.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Normal Body impressions of 38mm (1.5 inch) or less.
[Note: Body impressions are a normal phenomenon of premium bedding and indicate that the comfort layers are conforming to your body. Impressions of 38mm (1.5 inch) or less on the mattress in all sleeping areas are quite possible and not considered a manufacturing defect or material defect.]
Normal wear & tear.
Firmness or comfort preference of the product.
Physical discomfort experienced after using the product.
Mattress that is soiled, burnt or has received obvious abuse or poor care, such as pairing the mattress with inadequate support from a weak, mismatching size foundation / boxspring or an improper bed frame, namely nest type and wooden rail type.
Variations in the mattress’ size within the tolerance level of 2cm in width and length.
Difference in height and weight of mattress.
Cover (fabric & thread), bent border / grid wires
Sheet fit.
Bending, standing or jumping on the mattress.
Handles. Mattress handles are designed for mattress positioning only. Never use the mattress handles to support the weight of the mattress.
When the product is irreparably soiled by, stained or infested with vermin, regardless of defects.
Dust mites and bed bugs.
Replacement of another piece
Product shipped out of Singapore.
Product that is obtained other than through an authorized Sweet Touch retailer.
Product sold for commercial use.
Merchandise sold "as-in", "distressed" or “floor model".
Transportation, handling, inspection or removal cost of product.
Latex and Memory Foam Mattresses: change in softness and recovery time in these materials over time is considered normal. This does not affect the relieving qualities of these mattresses.
